Chris Racz's career highlights include:

Chris Herdelin has over twenty years of tennis instruction, with positions including Director of Tennis
at Radnor County Club, Head Tennis Professional at Radley Run Country Club, Assistant Men's Tennis Coach
at Temple University, and coach of the boy's and girl's tennis teams at William Penn Charter School.
Most relevant to the GPTA, Chris was a Director of High Performance at the Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis Center
in Philadelphia, where programs focus on exposing disadvantaged youth to lifetime tennis play. He currently trains
and coaches several area youth who have sectional and national rankings. Chris is eager to access the growing group
of youth in the Pottstown area that has recently been introduced to the sport. He has traveled to the Orange Bowl,
Easter Bowl and International Grass Court Tournaments with his top players. Chris was ranked as high as #8 nationally
in men's 30 singles. Chris' passion is instruction and development of adolescent and teen tennis players and identifying
stellar players. He is a graduate of Eastern University in Philadelphia where he was a Division III All-American.
Chris will be primarily responsible for on-court tennis instruction and player development at Greater Pottstown Tennis Association.

Andrew Wilson

Kerriann Herdelin has been teaching tennis for over fifteen years
with an emphasis on pre-teen youth, and she is an early expert in the Quickstart tennis programs.
Kerriann will be primarily responsible for scheduling, event planning and administering
the tennis programs to be conducted at Greater Pottstown Tennis Association.
Kerriann is a graduate of Niagara University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, and
she was awarded a Master’s degree in Special Education and currently working on her Principal Certification.
She was a Division I scholarship tennis player and is PTR Certified. Kerriann is currently the Head Woman's Coach
at The Hill School. Kerriann most recently managed the Coventry Quickstart Leaque for Philadelphia Area
Team Tennis Association.

Andrew Wilson is certified in Junior Development by the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR).
He coached Junior Team Tennis and completed the USTA Recreational Coach and QuickStart Workshops.
Andrew plays Men’s Varsity tennis for Lebanon Valley College and competes in the GPTA Men’s Summer League.
Andrew played Varsity tennis for Boyertown Area Senior High School earning MVP honors.

Maryellen Wilson, GPTA Administrator

Josh played 4 years of Varsity tennis at Pottsgrove High School, playing first singles his Junior and Senior year.
In college, he played his freshman year at Penn State Berks, and club level at the main campus of PSU.
Josh has played in the GPTA Summer Singles Leagne in the Men’s A Division. He was runner-up in 2005 and 2006;
and champion in 2010. Josh has been an active teaching Pro with the GPTA since 2002 and was the
Head Pro of Brookside Country Club for several years. Josh has been a certified Professional through the
PTR (Professional Tennis Registry) since 2007.

Maryellen Wilson has 40 years of tennis playing experience.
As the Administrator of the GPTA, she manages program registrations, communications and League organization.
Maryellen is a graduate of the University of Delaware and played four years of Division I Varsity tennis
for the Blue Hens earning MVP honors. Maryellen is the Assistant Boys and Girls Tennis Coach at Pottsgrove High School.

Ira Watts

Dave is a 1965 graduate of Shippensburg University where he played Varsity soccer and tennis.
In his senior year, the tennis team was undefeated and became Pennsylvania State College champions.
In 1997, Dave retired from the West Chester Area School District after 32 years as a
middle and high school Social Studies teacher. Dave has an extensive tennis resume.
He was the Director of the Philadelphia Public Parks Summer Tennis Instruction Program.
In addition, he was also the Head Tennis Coach at public and private schools;
West Chester Henderson, the Phelps School, Malvern Prep, and The Hill School (2004-2005).
As assistant men’s tennis coach at West Chester University,
the men’s tennis team won the Pennsylvania Sate College Championship in 1986.
He was the head men’s and women’s tennis coach at Ursinus College (2002-2003).
Dave was a tennis professional at Chester County country clubs; West Chester, Pennypacker,
Whitford, and Concord. In addition, he was on staff at Hillcrest Racquet Club, Reading.
Dave was a member of the USPTA for 37 years.

After retiring from a 25 year career as a Pennsylvania State Trooper,
Ira Watts became a Professional Tennis Registry certified tennis instructor.
He has received United States Tennis Association (USTA) coach training including
the Quick Start program, and attended the Community Tennis Development Workshop.
Certified to coach all ages and abilities he has taught children as young as
three years of age to senior citizens. Currently, Mr. Watts is the head of the
tennis program at the Brookside Country Club, the head coach for the girls’
varsity tennis team at the Pottstown High School, and the head coach for the
boys’ varsity tennis team at The Hill School. Coaching at The Hill School has
provided him with the opportunity to work with kids from around the world.
Also, as a member of the Greater Pottstown Tennis Association (GPTA) he was
able to contribute to the after school Pottstown Middle School program and
ran clinics for various groups.
